Richard Cannings’ riding in the BC Interior was one of the most impacted by this summer’s wildfires. He’s running to defend that seat from a Conservative who, in 2019, skipped the riding’s local candidate climate debate. Cannings narrowly won this seat in 2019 and with the riding literally on fire in 2021, he’s the kind of climate champion that South Okanagan—West Kootenay needs.
