During the fight over Bill C-12, Canada’s Net Zero Accountability legislation, Laurel Collins proved herself as a climate champion. She listened to demands from the climate movement, including barring fossil fuel executives from the net-zero advisory body and adding a near term climate target, and successfully fought for them at the Environment Committee. She has given impassioned speeches on the floor of the House during climate debates and will continue to champion the kind of climate action we need if she’s re-elected.
