In 2019, days after the federal election, Matthew Green showed up to support young climate organizers who had just staged a sit-in in the House of Commons and since then, he’s continued to champion climate justice. Both in the House of Commons and outside, Matthew is vocal in calling for a Green New Deal-style approach to the climate crisis. He supports moving Canada beyond fossil fuels with big, bold ideas to tackle climate change and inequality at the same time.
